Nickel eases on reduced demand, global cues

Nickel traded lower by Rs 5 per kg at the non-ferrous metals market today owing to fall in demand from consuming industries amid weak global cues.
Traders said sentiments in nickel turned bearish as it fell from one-month high in global markets after a union at the world's second-largest ferro-nickel mine said it is close to a deal to end its strike.
Meanwhile, nickel for delivery in three months dropped 1.7 per cent to USD 13,315 a metric tonne on the London Metal Exchange.
In the national capital, nickel plate (4x4) fell by Rs 5 to Rs 1,061-1,066 per kg.

Zinc ingot Rs 118-124, Nickel plate (4x4) Rs 1,061-1,066, Gun metal scrap Rs 227, Bell metal scrap Rs 229, Copper mixed scrap Rs 416, Chadri deshi Rs 285.
Lead ingot Rs 102, Lead imported Rs 103, Aluminium ingots Rs 156, Aluminium sheet cutting Rs 157, Aluminium wire scrap Rs 159 and Aluminium utensils scrap Rs 156.
