At the Multi Commodity Exchange, nickel for delivery in December was trading higher by Rs 2, or 0.26 per cent, to Rs 773.50 per kg, in a business turnover of 32 lots.
Similarly, the metal for delivery in November rose by Rs 1.60, or 0.21 per cent, to Rs 769.10 per kg in 847 lots.
Market analysts attributed the rise in nickel futures to a firm trend in industrial metals at the domestic spot markets from alloy-makers.
