Nickel remains weak on reduced offtake

Nickel prices fell further by Rs 2 per kg at the local non-ferrous metals market today due to subdued demand from consuming industries.
Traders said reduced offtake by consuming industries, particularly alloy-makers, mainly led to the fall in nickel prices.
In the national capital, nickel (4x4) shed another Rs 2 to Rs 1,091-1,097 per kg.
Following are today's metal rates (in Rs per kg):
Zinc ingot 111-117, Nickel plate (4x4) 1,091-1,097, Gun metal scrap 227, Bell metal scrap 229, Copper mixed scrap 444, Chadri deshi 285. Lead ingot 115, Lead imported 113, Aluminium ingots 155, Aluminium sheet cutting 156, Aluminium wire scrap 158 and Aluminium utensils scrap 155.
