Nickel, Zinc slip on subdued demand

Nickel, zinc and select copper prices slipped at the non-ferrous metal market here today as stockists engaged in cutting down their positions amid subdued demand from industrial users.
Nickel fell by Rs 10 per kg to Rs 780 from Thursday's closing level of Rs 790.
Zinc declined by Rs 3 per kg to Rs 234 from Rs 237.
Copper cable scrap, Copper scrap heavy, Copper armiture and copper wire bar softened by a Re per kg each to Rs 408, Rs 402, Rs 394 and Rs 436, respectively.
However, brass sheet cutting moved up by Rs 2 per kg to Rs 320 as against Rs 318 yesterday.
Copper utensils scrap inched-up by a Re per kg to Rs 363.
