'Don't Hold Your Breath' hitmaker Nicole Scherzinger is reportedly asking for 1.5 million pounds to return to the judges panel on 'The X Factor'.
The 34-year-old has asked the producers of the show for double the amount of money she earned from the last season of the show, reported by People magazine .
"Simon Cowell has made Nicole an offer, but she knows the money she wants and it's double what she got last year. She knows that she was the star of the show last year and therefore thinks she should be paid appropriately.
"Last year it was all so rushed, she was a last-minute replacement for Kelly Rowland, so she couldn't negotiate properly. She knows that she is the judge that people are still talking about," a source said.
Louis Walsh and Gary Barlow are both said to be returning to the show. Sharon Osbourne is also thought to be making a return to the show after she quit her judging role in 2007.
"No formal decisions have been made about the panel for this year or any contracts," said an 'X Factor' spokesman.
