Night fire in dorms kills 7 at Nigerian girls' school

An official says a fire has gutted the dormitories of a girls' high school in northern Kano state, killing 7 students and injuring 25.
Deputy Kano state Governor Hafiz Abubakar said today that a committee will investigate the cause.
He said yesterday night's fire gutted the hostel of the Government Girls' Secondary School in Gezawa, about 25 kilometres from Kano city.
