Night temperature dips in parts of Raj

Night temperature dipped in parts of Rajasthan where Churu in plains recorded minimum of 1.5 degree Celsius which was followed by Sriganganagar where the minimum temperature last night was 4.2 degrees Celsius.
Mount Abu, the sole hill station in the desert state, recorded minimum of zero (0.0) degree Celsius, according to MeT department here.
Phalodi, Chittorgarh, Tonk (Vanasthali), Pilani and Jaipur registered minimum of 5, 5.1, 5.2, 5.3 and 5.8 degrees Celsius, whereas the night temperature was between 6.4 and 9 degrees Celsius.
Meanwhile, 11 trains under North Western Railway are running late due to fog in the northern region that included Sialdah-Ajmer Express, Rishikesh-Sriganganagar Express, Kolkata-Bikaner, Varanasi-Jodhpur and Allahabad-Jaipur Express with delay of minimum 1 hour 55 minute to maximum 8 hour 20 minutes, according to NWR spokesperson.
