Night temperatures were appreciably below normal in some

parts of Konkan and Goa and were below normal in some parts of Uttar Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir, east Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Saurashtra and Kutch, Vidarbha and of coastal Andhra Pradesh. They were markedly above normal in some parts of West Bengal, Sikkim and Jharkhand; appreciably above normal in some parts of Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, Odisha, Madhya Maharashtra, Marathwada, Chhattisgarh, Telangana, Rayalseema, Tamil Nadu and interior Karnataka and were above normal in some parts of Bihar, Punjab, Himachal Pradesh, east Rajasthan and Kerala and in remaining parts of West Bengal, Sikkim, Odisha, Madhya Pradesh, Saurashtra and Kutch, Madhya Maharashtra, Vidarbha and Chhattisgarh. They were normal over the rest of the country. The lowest minimum temperature of 3.8 deg C has been recorded at Amritsar (Punjab) in the plains of the country.
