NIIT Tech scrip soars 11% as June qtr Net rises

Shares of NIIT Technologies soared over 11 per cent today after the company posted 35.5 per cent increase in net profit in the June quarter of current fiscal.
NIIT Tech's scrip rose 11.20 per cent to settle at Rs 464.05 on the BSE. During the day, the stock surged 15.55 per cent to touch its one-year peak of Rs 482.20.
At the NSE, shares of the company climbed 10.71 per cent to close at Rs 463.45.
The mid-sized IT services firm today posted 35.5 per cent increase in net profit at Rs 58.5 crore for the April-June quarter of 2015 on the back of strong growth in international business.
The firm had reported a net profit of Rs 43.2 crore in the corresponding period a year ago.
Its consolidated revenue grew 11 per cent to Rs 641.1 crore in the quarter under review from Rs 577.6 crore in the same period last fiscal.
