Supreet Barula lodged a counter case against Professor Harish Veer Singh and Doctor Rajkumar alleging that the duo is demanding Rs 50 lakh for withdrawing the case against his father, they said.
Singh, in December last year, had approached a local court here alleging that after extracting money from him, Nirmal Baba had advised him to eat 'kheer' (rice pudding) as a remedy for diabetes, following which his health deteriorated.
The court rejected his petition and issued a bailable warrant against the self-styled god-man and summoned him for hearing on January 6 this year.
According to the police, Supreet has submitted documents which show that Singh is not a diabetic patient.
