NIT-Tiruchy sets up centres of dynamic excellence

NIT-Tiruchirapalli, formerly Regional Engineering College, has set up 'centres of dynamic excellence' to train students, practising professionals and industries in order to create a robust technical education eco-system.
The centres were established at a cost of Rs 190 crore with energy, healthcare and infrastructure solutions provider Siemens as its technology partner, a press release said here Wednesday.
According to the director of the NIT-Tiruchy Mini Shaji Thomas, the centres have been envisaged to help students, practising professionals and industries achieve 'excellence in skills.'
