Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar today stood in support of Congress Vice President Rahul Gandhi and questioned by "snooping" on him what kind of tradition the BJP government was establishing.
"What do they want to know by snooping on Congress leader?" Kumar told reporters before leaving Legislative Council premises in the evening.
Launching a scathing attack on the BJP government, Kumar said by doing so it was trying to establish a bad tradition.
Kumar, who is senior leader of JD(U), assailed the NDA government for the incident and justified Congress protest over the episode.
"Its natural reaction of the Congress party," he added.
The Bihar CM was venting his anger on visit of Delhi police personnel to Rahul Gandhi's house recently to collect information on him as part of a transparent security profiling. The issue rocked Parliament today.
JD(U) has been in close proximity with the Congress nowdays. Congress along with RJD is supporting Kumar's government in Bihar.
