NLC "invites online e-bids...for mine development and operation (MDO) for Talabira-II & III coal block (for the life of mine with a normative production of 20 million tonnes per annum (MTPA) and total reserve of the mine is 553.98 million tonnes) in Jharsuguda & Sambalpur Districts of Odisha," Neyveli Lignite said on its website.
Neyveli Lignite Corporation (NLC), a navratna company under the coal ministry, has a present power generation capacity of 4,301 mw. In the last fiscal the company's power generation (gross) 22,340.59 million units.
