NMC demands filling up vacant posts in PDD

An organisation representing the employees today demanded the filling up of large numbers of vacancies of Assistant Engineers in the Power Development Department (PDD) in Jammu.
"We demand filling up of vacancies of Assistant Engineers in the PDD in winter capital," National Mazdoor Conference (NMC) President Subash Shastri said in a statement here.
In three separate memorandums sent to Chief Minister Omar Abdullah, Chief Secretary Iqbal Khanday and Principal Secretary PDD Arun Mehta, NMC has pointed out that over 317 posts of Assistant Engineers are lying vacant since long.
