"The state cabinet, which is going to meet on May 28 should pave way for regularisation of all casual and seasonal labourers who have been engaged in various departments of the state government after March 1994", NMC chief Subash Shastri told reporters here.
Shastri claimed the services of the labour class has not been regularised for the last 15 to 20 years and they are not getting their wages in time.
While expressing grave concern over the inordinate delay in releasing of 10 per cent DA and fourth instalment of the 6th pay commission arrears, Shastri demanded an early release of these instalments to neutralise the affect of inflation and price rise. He also sought removal of all pay anomalies without any further delay.
