NMDC Dir Thiagarajan's tenure may be extended by a month

Country's top iron ore miner NMDC today said the tenure of its Director Finance S Thiagarajan may be extended by a month till November 8 or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
The tenure of Thiagarajan ended on October 8, the company said in a filing to BSE.
"Ministry of Steel...Has communicated that S Thiagarajan, Director (Finance), NMDC Ltd may be assigned the current charge of the post of Director (Finance), NMDC Ltd for a period of one (1) month beyond October 8, 2014 or until further orders, whichever is earlier," it said.
"This issues with the approval of competent authority," it added.
