"The Uttar Pradesh government had send a final list of dead and missing people in calamity in Uttrakhand in June last year and and the Uttrakhand government was to issue death certificates. But this has not been done so far as a result none of the victim have received the compensation," Rakesh Chandra, Special Secretary (Home) told reporters.
He, however, expressed hope that the reamining formalities would be completed in next 15 to 20 days.
The state government had announced Rs two lakh compensation to each of the kin of the people killed in the incident.
