: There have been no coronavirus- positive cases in Telangana as of Friday, even as the test results of five people were awaited, government officials said.
A total of 56 samples had been tested till Thursday.
The five people, whose test results were awaited, have been admitted to state-run hospitals here.
The tests for determination of nCov are now being conducted at the state-run Gandhi Hospital.
The samples used to be sent earlier to the National Institute of Virology (NIV), Pune.
Stating that no positive cases had been reported in the state till date, Health Minister E Rajender appealed to the media to observe restraint in reporting about the deadly virus.
