Reeves, 49, whose directorial debut 'Man of Tai Chi' hit theatres yesterday, played the lead role of Neo in the sci-fi thriller, reported E! online.
Co-directed by Andy Wachowski and Lana Wachowski, the franchise had three editions, which started in 1999.
"I don't believe there will be one. I don't know what the Wachowskis are doing right now other than working on Jupiter. I don't know if they're thinking about another Matrix," he said.
Reeves' directorial venture 'Man of Tai Chi' revolves around a young man (played by 'Matrix' stuntman Tiger Hu Chen) who is lured into a deadly underground martial arts fight club ruled by a mysterious tycoon named Donaka Mark (Reeves).
"I'm good at movie Kung fu. I'm a black belt in movie Kung fu. I studied martial arts very briefly when I was a young kid. I was like 10 or 11," he added.
