No play on first day in TN vs Guj Ranji match

The first day's play of the Ranji Trophy cricket match between Tamil Nadu and Gujarat was called off without a ball being bowled due to rains here today.
Even the toss was not held for the Group B match at the Indian Cement Company Ground.
Gujarat are now placed second in the nine-team Group B with 22 points from six matches while Tamil Nadu are on sixth with 17 points from six games.
