The state capital, Patna which has been witnessing over 40 degrees Celsius temperature for the last couple of days, today registered 41.6 deg Celsius.
At Bhagalpur the maximum temperature was 38.6 degree Celsius while it was 31.8 deg Celsius in Purnea.
The Met office said temperatures across the state may increase further, but there is no forecast of heat wave.
The Met department forecast said that Patna and Gaya would have mainly clear sky tomorrow while other parts of Bihar including Bhagalpur and Purnea would see partly cloudy sky.
