Noida police plans reception counters at 8 police stations

Noida Police has planned to come up with reception counters and waiting room areas at eight police stations in the twin cities of Gautam Budh Nagar district.
"One Sub Inspector, two women constables will be available at the counter round the clock to listen to public grievances and complaints and lodge the FIR or help them solve their problem if they do not want to lodge formal complaint," Gautam Budh Nagar district Senior Superintendent of Police Preetinder Singh said.
The facilities will be made available withing the next one month, the SSP said.
Six police stations which come under Noida area include Sector 20, Sector 24, Sector 39, Sector 49, Sector 58 and Noida Phase 2 police stations. Two Greater Noida police stations included in the scheme were Surajpur and Kasna.
