Nom for second phase of LS polls in UP starts tomorrow

Nominations for the third phase of polls on 12 Lok Sabha seats in Uttar Pradesh will start tomorrow.
"For the third phase, nominations for 12 seats spread over 15 districts will start tomorrow," UP Chief Electoral Officer Umesh Sinha told reporters here.
The constituencies going to poll included Hathras, Mathura, Agra, Fatehpur Sekri, Firozabad, Mainpuri, Etah, Hardoi, Farukhabad, Etawah, Kannauj and Akbarpur.
Nomination papers can be filed till April 5 and the last date for withdrawal is April 9. Polling will be held on April 24.
1.98 crore voters, including 88.98 lakh women, will figure in this phase, Sinha said, adding there would be 15,087 polling centres and 21,946 polling booths.
