Non-edible oils decline on poor demand

Castorseeds bold and castoroil commercial eased further at the Vashi oils and oilseeds wholesale market here today due to subdued demand from shippers and soap industries.
While, linseedoil continued its downtrend owing to weak demand from paint and allied industries.
In edible segment, refined palmolein recovered slightly following mild retail buying support.
Meanwhile, groundnutoil remained stable in the absence of any major buying activity.
The castorseeds futures rates are unavailable.
In the non-edible section, castorseed bold slid by Rs 15 per 100 kg to Rs 3,975 from Thursday's closing level of Rs 3,990 and casotroil commercial moved down by Rs 3 per 10 kg to Rs 825 from Rs 828. Linseed oil fell by Rs 5 per 10kg to Rs 800 from as compared to Rs 805 yesterday.

Moving to edible segment, refined palmolein inched up by Re per 10 kg to Rs 616. However, groundnutoil unaltered at Rs 770 per 10kg.
