Actor Arshad Warsi says he is "perfectly fine" with the fact that Akshay Kumar has replaced him in the sequel of "Jolly LLB".
The sequel, "Jolly LLB 2", stars Akshay in the lead. The original film featured Warsi in the central role of a lawyer and was directed by Subhash Kapoor.
When asked if he was sad that he will not be seen in the sequel, Arshad told PTI, "No, I never feel like that. There are many films I don't or can't do so I don't feel sad about anything. For me, Subhash is a very dear friend of mine.
"So when we were thinking of this, discussions were happening, Fox (production company) wanted Akshay to do the film," he said.
The "Munnabhai MBBS" actor said he felt the "Baby" star will be able to do justice to the role.
"I always thought that Akshay was the best choice. He can play a macho man, powerful guy, strong guy and he can also play a very naive, innocent desperate person. He has got that range so it's perfectly fine."
Warsi also praised the first look of the film which was out recently featuring Akshay.
"I liked the poster, it is very interesting. I know the story. I have full confidence in Akshay. I think its going to be a beautiful film".
The actor was speaking at the music launch of his upcoming film "The Legend of Michael Mishra".
