The rebranding of the 13 multi-specialty, short-stay surgical centres further consolidates the company's brand image into a healthcare brand, it said.
The exercise is aimed at facilitating the next phase of Nova's growth, where each centre will function as a 'fully-equipped, standalone' hospital, according to a company statement.
Since its inception in 2009, Nova's evolution has been guided by a "patient centric" approach. It aims to eliminate unnecessary hospitalisation and minimise hospital-acquired infections. Nova has evolved from a day-care surgery model to a short-stay surgery model.
The company is opening its new surgical and IVF centre in Pune soon. Nova's infertility business, Nova IVI Fertility, is also growing rapidly with seven IVF centres operational and another three underway, the release said.
