The CM has taken the step to spread his and the government's works.
CM's day-to-day activities and important decision taken by him are tweeted through his personal twitter handle @yadavakhilesh.
"A number - 01130083380 - has been started, on which one can give missed call and he would be given all the tweets by the Chief Minister," Cabinet minister and party spokesman Rajendra Chowdhury said.
Yadav, who had taken jibe at Prime Minister Narendra Modi saying the Centre took cognisance of any matter when it's tweeted, is now himself active on the micro-blogging site.
The tweets from this handle can be received by giving a missed call at 01130496353, a government release issued here said.
Two more official accounts, one for the UP government (@UPGovt) and the other for the state's chief secretary (@chiefsecyUP), have also been created by the government last year.
