"Consumers can get regular information about bills, payments made and pending payment via SMS, by simply registering their number with DJB," CEO Delhi Jal Board, S S Yadav said.
"We will also alert the consumers about the due dates of their payments through SMS," he added.
According to an official, to avail the facility consumers will have to link their mobile number with ten digits KNO (connection number).
and sending it via SMS to 7738299899, the official said.
Whether there will be any case of disconnection in water supply or new developments regarding water and drainage related issues, now everything will be communicated through SMS facility.
Consumers can also get more information by dialling DJB's customer care number -1916.
