S K Jain, Chairman and Managing Director, K C Purohit, Director - Projects, Preman Dinaraj, Director - Finance and other senior NPCIL officials visited and reviewed the work at Unit-1 in the plant.
Meanwhile, experts of Atomstroyexport arrived at the plant to renew their contract with the NPCIL on supply of material which lapsed today.
The technical expert team from both sides later reviewed the installation and commissioning work of unit-1 and 2 of the plant.
The visit of the teams to the plant assumed significance against the backdrop of Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Jayalalithaa saying that the plant was expected to commence production in two months. PTI COR DSJ MS BN
