DPCC Chief J P Agarwal today exuded confidence that National Students Union India (NSUI) candidates will emerge victorious in coming Delhi University Students' Union (DUSU) elections.
"Like last year, Congress workers will contact students in their respective areas and they will be informed about the policies and programmes of the students' body and seek support," he said.
He was addressing the leaders of NSUI at a meeting here.
Agarwal also asked workers of Youth Congress, Mahila Congress and Seva Dal to collaborate with NSUI candidates to help them emerge victorious.
Union Minister Oscar Fernandes, who too was present at the meeting, also appealed to party workers to work towards the victory of NSUI candidates in DUSU elections.
