National Test House (NTH) scientists and officials have decided to work an hour more during the next seven days in remembrance of former president A P J Abdul Kalam.
"We, on behalf of NTH family shall try to put our best endeavour, the way Dr Kalam has shown to move forward for overall development of NTH and the nation as a whole," NTH director General U Thanu said in a statement released here today.
"To mark our respect to his departed soul, we the employees of NTH do hearby resolve that during the next week (August 3 onwards) we will work for one more hour daily as per his desire," he added.
NTH had on Friday held a condolence meeting at its Salt Lake office following Kalam's death.
