Nurse gangraped by 3 youths in Jaipur

A 28-year-old married nurse was allegedly gangraped by three youths near SMS stadium gate here, police said today.
The incident took place at about 5 am on January 26 near Ram Bagh circle when the woman was going to the hospital where she works, they said.
She was abducted by the three accused on a bike and taken to the SMS stadium north gate where they beat her up and raped her, police said.
The woman, who lives in the Sanganer area, last evening complained to Gandhi Nagar police station after which an FIR was registered under sections 365 (abduction), 323 (assault) and 376 (rape) of the IPC against the trio.

The woman has been sent for medical examination and her statement would be recorded soon, police said, adding a manhunt has been launched to nab the accused.
In a separate incident, a contractor was yesterday booked for allegedly raping a 25-year-old married woman on the pretext of giving her a job on January 10. The FIR was registered following a court's order, police said.

The victim, a shepherd who lives in Shyam Nagar area, was lured by a contractor, Bannaji, in deserted place, they said.
An FIR was registered under various sections of the IPC including 376 (rape) and sections of the SC/ST (prevention of atrocities) Act following an order by a local court.

The victim was sent for medical examination.
