Nurse takes lethal injection, dies

A woman from Kerala, who was working here as a nurse, committed suicide at her home in Sadarpur colony by taking a lethal injection, police said today.
Sector 39 police station in charge Rakesh Kumar Singh said that Rimia took a poisonous injection at her home yesterday. She was under mental pressure, he said.
Her body has been sent for post mortem, Singh said.
In another case, an FIR was lodged at sector 49 police station against a 14-year-old boy for sexually assaulting a five-year-old girl.
However, police said that medical examination has not confirmed rape. The rapeaccused denied the charge but admitted that he had touched her body, said Bijendra Singh Bhadana, sector 49 police station in charge.

Bhadana said that as the accused is also a minor, he will be sent to a remand home and further investigation will follow.

In Jarcha area, body of a 40-year-old man was recovered from Anandpur village canal today.
Jarcha police station in charge Ramsen Singh the body has been sent for post mortem and efforts are on to identify it.
Meanwhile, the police has arrested a female spa owner and a man identified as Ishan for running sex racket in guise of a massage parlour at sector 18. Another accused identified as Sonu was absconding.
Yesterday, a film maker had lodged complaint at sector 20 police station in this connection.
