Obscene video uploaded on Internet with woman's name

A woman here has alleged that some unidentified persons have uploaded an obscene video using her name on the Internet, with the intention to blackmail her, police said today.
The woman complained that some unidentified persons made an obscene video using her name and threatened her through mobile phone that they will upload it on the Internet if she fails to give money to them, they said.
As she did not pay, the accused allegedly uploaded the video on the Internet, according to the complaint.
On the basis of the woman's complaint, an FIR was yesterday registered in the Bagwala police station here, police said, adding that the victim has provided two mobile numbers from which the accused had called.

An investigation is underway in the matter and police are trying to trace the mobile numbers, they added.
