Octogenarian farmer kills wife, kills self

An 85-year-old farmer allegedly clubbed his 76-year-old wife to death following a quarrel on some domestic issue before hanging himself in their house in Dindori village near here, police said today.
Tatiram Ugale allegedly attacked Gitabai (76) with a bamboo in a fit of rage and hit her on head, which resulted into her death on Sunday night.
On realising that Gitabai is dead, Ugale hanged himself with a rope, an official from Dindori Police Station said.
The incident came to light last morning when their son broke open the door of the house and found his mother lying in a pool of blood and father hanging.
