Cab aggregator Ola today launched Ola Play, a connected car platform for ride sharing here and said it will be taken to other cities soon.
The company had launched Ola Play in November last year and it is available in Bengaluru, Mumbai and Delhi.
"With Ola Play, we have brought onboard, some of the international and national content and technology partners, to build a platform that is highly interactive, contextual and intelligent. More partners will be added," Ola Play Head Ankit Jain said.
To a query he said, "We will continue to spread in more cities and also look at expanding in other categories as well. We want to keep extending to other cities also like Hyderabad where people are spending lot of time on roads in cars".
Anand Subramanian, Senior Director, Marketing Communications, Ola said "it was more than 2,000 prime play vehicles at launch and will be scaled up to 10,000 over the next six months. We will get feedback and then revisit once after getting feedback."
Ola Play allows various partners like Apple Music, Sony LIV, AIB, Arre', Audio Compass, among others, to build a high quality interactive experience for users.
Ola Play is powered by proprietary in-car and cloud technologies.
