Shankaraiah (80) and Suguna (75) who are residents of Housing Board Quarters at Keerthi Nagar in Geesugonda mandal of Warangal district, were murdered after which their gold ornaments as well as money were taken away.
When their maid servant knocked the doors in the morning, she was shocked to see as their bodies.
She informed the Geesugonda police which shifted their bodies to the MGM Hospital for post-mortem, as well as the couple's relatives.
The Geesugonda police is investigating the case.
