Sheikh Nazir was admitted in a super specialty hospital here this morning.
A party spokesman said Omar spent some time with Sheikh Nazir and also wished him speedy recovery.
"Dr S K Bali, head of the nephrology department and his team is closely monitoring the condition of the ailing leader," the spokesman said.
A stream of visitors including senior National Conference leaders, friends and relatives besides leaders of various social organisations also called on Sheikh Nazir and wished him early recovery, he added.
