"I hope they hand over a better India to their successors when the time comes to do so. That's the very least we can expect or hope for," he added.
"Leaving for Rashtrapati Bhavan in a while. Last time I attended an Oath Ceremony on the forecourt was in 1999, seems like yesterday.
"I remember my name being called out & taking the oath of office & secrecy administered by President Narayanan. How time flies!" he wrote.
