One held for trying to 'vitiate' communal atmosphere in UP

One person was today arrested for allegedly trying to vitiate communal atmosphere and objectionable material was recovered from his possession in Yakoobganj area here, police said.
Acting on a tip off, a raid was carried out in the premises of the accused, who runs a grocery shop in Dhaneypur police station area, during which 50 copies of "objectionable" material were seized, police said.
The arrested person was planning to distribute the copies in the neighbourhood with the aim to disturb communal atmosphere, police said adding that a case has been registered and further investigations were on.
