One killed, 12 injured as bus plunges into ditch

One person was killed and 12 others were injured when a roadways bus collided with a truck and fell into a ditch in Kalyanpur area here, police said today.
The accident occurred last evening injuring the bus and 12 others. The injured were rushed to a nearby hospital where the 35-year-old bus driver, Balraj, died, police said.
The other injured passengers are stated to be in stable condition.
