One killed, 43 injured in road mishap in Udhampur

One person was killed and 43 others were injured today when a bus in which they were travelling skidded off the road and fell into a gorge in Udhampur district of Jammu and Kashmir.
The ill-fated bus, which was on its way to Udhampur from Narohat, skidded off the road and fell down into the gorge at Bhatta in the district, police said.
A man, identified as Madan Lal, died on the spot and the 43 injured persons were shifted to a hospital, they said.
