The victim has been identified as Yaqoob of Julepura village here, they said.
Yaqoob, who runs a sweet shop was making constructions over his plot this afternoon, when some bricks fell over into the neighbouring plot of one Babu, also from Julepura. An altercation ensued later between the two sides, according to SSP Akhilesh Kumar.
Babu and his supporters then attacked the other side with firearams, in which Yaqoob was killed on the spot and his younger brother Noor Mohd seriously injured, he said.
