One killed in Ganga Canal mishap

One person was today killed and two of his family members seriously injured when a car they were travelling in fell into the Ganga Canal under Bhopa police station limits in the district, police said.
The incident took place when Jitender (34), his wife Amresh (34) and their 16-year-old daughter were on their way from Baghpat to take a Ganga bath.
While Jitender died in the accident his wife and daughter were shifted to hospital in serious condition, police said.
