One killed, one injured in accident on expressway

One person was killed and another injured after their motorcycle was hit by a speeding vehicle on the expressway today, police said.
"Ramveer, resident of village Bharau and riding the bike, died on the spot while Khadag Singh, resident of Fonder, is fighting for life in the hospital," they said.
The accident occured when a Jevar-bound SUV, coming from Mathura side, hit the motorcycle near milestone 80.700, falling under Surir police station this afternoon, Dy SP Janak Singh said.
The registration number of the car has been taken even as the drivermanaged to flee with the vehicle after the accident, he said.
