The deceased has been identified as 21-year-old Purit Agarwal while the injured as Gopal and Rahul, who are in serious condition and being treated in a local hospital, they said.
The incident took place around 2.30 PM in electricity meter room of the factory, where the three were present, police said, adding cause of explosion was being probed.
According to the executive engineer of the factory, V N Singh the explosion occurred due to some fault in the meter room due to which wall, roof and some machine also got damaged.
