"Chief Executive Officer of Delhi Cantonment Board, Sanjeev Kumar, sealed one property in Gopinath Market in the area after issuing notices under relevant section of Public Premises (Eviction of Unauthorised Occupants) Act," spokesperson of the DCB said.
Unauthorised constructions were being carried out on Defence Land rampantly in violation of Cantonments Act.
On October 12, both the CEO and DEO Delhi Cantonment in a joint operation had sealed four properties in Delhi Cantonment where illegal construction was in progress and on October 30, seven unauthorized properties were sealed.
Twelve properties have been sealed till date by Defence Estate Office and Delhi Cantonment Board.
