Opium seized from Rangia Rly stn, one held

A huge quantity of opium has been seized from Rangia Railway station in lower Assam by the Railway Protection Force today, according to RPF officer in-charge Biplab Mazumdar.
During routine checking by a RPF team along with its anti-drug group, recovered the opium in four packets kept in two big trolley bags, Mazumdar said.
One Md Ali of Tatarkuchi, Rangia has been detained for carrying the bags, he said claiming, one Amir Ali was carrying the opium packets to Chandigarh by Chandigarh Express.
