OPPI's third Healthcare Access Summit on Aug 8

The Organisation of Pharmaceutical Producers of India (OPPI), will organise its third Healthcare Access Summit in Mumbai on August 8.
The summit will bring together diverse stakeholders to discuss how quality healthcare can be provided across all segments of the population, OPPI said in a statement here.
The summit will be attended Union minister of health Harsh Vardhan, Secretary Department of Pharmaceuticals Aradhana Johri, Secretary General, IPA D G Shah, President IDMA S Veeramani, President OPPI Dr Shailesh Ayyangar, Ranjit Shahani Managing Director, India & Vice President, South Asia, Sanofi, Ranjit Shahani amongst others.

IRIS to implement XBRL based system for Bank Of Mauritius * Bank Of Mauritius (BoM) has picked Indian software company and global XBRL leader, IRIS Business Services Ltd (IRIS), to implement the next generation infrastructure for a robust disclosure platform based on the XBRL information standard in a bid to strengthen its supervisory infrastructure.
The project involves setting up a completely new regulatory filing platform as well as a data warehouse and a business intelligence platform. At the culmination of the 15 month long project, BoM would have a world class regulatory infrastructure that is best of breed and cutting edge.

"Mauritius is the 15th country where one or more of our solutions will be operational, we are delighted that so many regulators from around the world are reposing faith in us," IRIS CEO, S Swaminathan said in a statement.

Marfatia appointed as Edelweiss Financial's Managing Partner * Edelweiss Financial Services today said it has appointed Riyaz Marfatia as Managing Partner for Global Wealth Management.
He will be heading the financial advisory business for the western region, reporting to Anshu Kapoor, Head-Global Wealth Management, the company said in a statement.
Prior to joining Edelweiss Financial Services, Marfatia was associated with HDFC Bank.
