Oppn cannot suppress JNVU scam: Raj CM

Rajasthan Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje today said the Opposition Congress created an uproar in the House yesterday when BJP MLAs were about to raise the issue of alleged scam at Jai Narayan Vyas University.
"The recruitment scam cannot be suppressed by the Opposition by disrupting the proceedings of the House. The scam will have big names," she said in her Motion of Thanks to the Governor's address at the Assembly here.
In an oblique attack on Congress leader Ashok Gehlot for his comment that his party was making a list of officials working on the government's directions in this issue, Raje said, "The state is with officials who are working for the development and prosperity of Rajasthan."

"Those who are threatening that they are making a list are till now in the hangover of power," she said.
Last month, the former chief minister had said those who are doing injustice while being in the bureaucracy will not be spared.
"We are making a list of officials who are working on the directions of the government. Those who are honest need not worry," he had said.
